Winter will not wait!

Fleeing the violence in their country, many Syrians left their homes with nothing but the clothes on their back.

The coming winter threatens thousands of families, who have only a tent for shelter. The need for winter protection is acute.

Over half a million refugees have now fled the escalating violence in Syria and around 3,000 new refugees are crossing the border into neighboring countries every day. It is estimated that up to 1 million Syrian refugees will need help by the end of the first half of 2013.
